Christian Hernandez joins us as Housing & Community Development Advocate / Business Development Officer.

Arizona Industrial Development Authority (Arizona IDA) is pleased to announce that Christian Hernandez has joined the organization as Housing & Community Development Advocate / Business Development Officer, supporting the continued growth, outreach, and visibility of the HOME+Plus and Arizona Is Home down payment assistance programs across Arizona.
Christian brings nearly two decades of experience in banking, mortgage lending, business development, and community-focused housing advocacy throughout Arizona. Her background includes retail banking, strategic relationship development, mortgage lending, and homebuyer education, with a strong focus on helping families navigate sustainable paths to homeownership.
As a bilingual professional, Christian also supports expanded educational outreach and accessibility for Arizona’s Spanish-speaking communities, helping raise awareness and understanding of the homeownership opportunities available through the HOME+Plus and Arizona Is Home programs.
In her role, Christian works alongside Executive Director Dirk Swift and Operations & Administrative Coordinator Deaun Hampton to strengthen lender and community partnerships, expand awareness of down payment assistance opportunities, and advance Arizona IDA’s mission of making homeownership more accessible and attainable for Arizona families.
